Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams and the Department of Parks and Recreation created the Brooklyn Beautification Fund (Fund) to allow Brooklyn local groups to beautify their communities. If your group is interested in applying for a grant please complete the information below and our office will send you an application.

Please note: As mandated by the Office of Management and Budget, this program applies only for young street trees, which are defined as newly planted trees and/or trees 24 months or younger. If your trees do not qualify, and you disagree with the City rule, please answer “no” on the first question below. The corresponding link next to your response will take you to the Borough President’s petition. You and your neighbors signatures will allow us to work together to change this rule and ensure that ALL trees are created equal! SAVE OUR MATURE TREES AND SPREAD THE WORD!

For more information visit www.brooklyn-usa.org under Community Programs for the application.
