Tomorrow, Friday, May 5, 2023, from 8AM to about 1PM, 13 blocks in District 8 will be closed to vehicular traffic and parking will not be available on these blocks. They are roughly Nostrand Avenue to Albany Avenue from Bergen Street to St. John’s Place. The 77th Precinct has provided us the attached map of closures and traffic limitations. 

 

The closures are for the funeral of  Member of Service (MOS), Detective Troy Patterson, who was shot in the line of duty 33 years ago and recently succumbed to his injuries after being on life support.
