The average charter school in New York City focuses on the best students with good grades and active parents. ROADS Charter High School located at 1495 Herkimer Street, Brooklyn, focuses on young people who are off-track and likely to repeat the grade. These students are at risk of becoming disconnected and dropping out. Every year, thousands of students drop out of high school or fail to be promoted out of middle school. There are traditionally very few options for these students – GED programs typically don’t accept 15 or 16 year olds and most transfer high schools won’t accept students with less than 11 credits.

ROADS Charter High Schools (Brooklyn and Bronx) are an option for these students.
More information on the program can be found HERE.

If you know of a student that meets ROADS’ criteria for enrollment, applications are being accepted for the fall. Applications can be downloaded HERE. Do not delay. Let’s all work together to get our young people on track for success.
