New York City’s Open Streets program transforms streets into public space open to all. These transformations allow for a range of activities that promote economic development, support schools, and provide new ways for New Yorkers to enjoy cultural programming and build community. NYC DOT is currently accepting applications from new and returning partners in 2022. All partners, regardless of capacity or experience, should submit an application. NYC DOT will work with partners to identify resources to support the safe and successful execution of Open Streets.
