Dear New Yorker,

National Hispanic Heritage Month started this Wednesday September 15th. This month is the perfect time to honor the achievements of Hispanic Americans and to support those following in their footsteps.

Next week is Queens City Hall in Your Borough! One of highlights to look forward to will be the resource fair. The resource fair will be held on September 23rd, Helen Marshall Cultural Center in Queens from 1pm- 5pm.  CAU certainly hope to see you there!

In partnership,

Roberto Pérez,

Commissioner, Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit

Key Updates:

NYC Vaccine Updates

This new requirement — called the Key to NYC — includes bars, movie and stage theatres, museums and other indoor venues. Employees at these locations are also required to be vaccinated.

It has never been easier to get a COVID-19 vaccination in New York City. New Yorkers 12 years and older can now get the COVID-19 vaccine at sites across the five boroughs. To find out where to get vaccinated and to make an appointment, visit nyc.gov/vaccinefinder or you can also call 877-VAX-4NYC (877-829-4692).

NYC also offers in-home COVID-19 vaccinations to any city resident who requests one. You can also request whether you want the Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Schedule your appointment today for your in-home vaccination by filling out this form: http://nyc.gov/homevaccine.

New Yorkers can get $100, free tickets, memberships or gifts for getting vaccinated against COVID-19. If you get your first vaccine dose at a New York City-run vaccine location, you will be eligible to choose one incentive. Once your first COVID-19 vaccine dose is complete, you will receive an email with instructions on how to select your incentive and enter the contest. You can also call 877-VAX-4NYC (877-829-4692) to learn more.

If you are fully vaccinated but lost your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or need verification of your vaccine status, you can request a copy of your COVID-19 vaccination record. You cannot get a replacement COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card at this time, but you can get an official record noting you have been vaccinated.
