The Citizens Committee for NYC and NYC Service are working in conjunction on the Love Your Block initiative. Applications are now being accepted for the 2016 Love Your Block Grant, which are for the amount of $1,000 for volunteer-led neighborhood groups working to improve the quality of their neighborhoods while leveraging City services for block clean-up and improvement projects.

Please spread the work about this grant through your networks. Applications are due November 6, 2015.

Grantees also receive City services from the Dept. of Sanitation, Dept. of Transportation, and Dept. of Parks and Recreation.
