Make sure your furry friend has a dog license. It’s the law!

The New York City Health Code requires that dog owners attach a license tag to their dog’s collar while in public. Dog owners may be fined for violation of these laws.

A dog license costs $8.50 per year for spayed or neutered dogs or $34 per year for non-spayed or neutered dogs. Dog licenses may be purchased or renewed for one to five years.

We are hosting a dog licensing event this Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018 at Bartlet-Pritchard Square in Brooklyn.
