The Fresh Air Fund Summer Spaces program will serve children ages 5-13 in their local communities. Children will do a variety of activities from art to movement to games that are fun and safe, taking COVID-19 guidelines into consideration. The structure will engage them in learning and developing positive relationships with adults and youth (ages 18-24) mentors who will be staffing the Summer Spaces.  

The program is structured as three (3) two-hour time slots, each serving 30 children and totaling 90 children per day.    

Where:   

  • Park Place between New York Avenue and Kingston (Crown Heights) 
 

When: Summer Spaces will operate from 10:00 to 4:00pm – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. (Set up will begin at 8:30am and removal will end by 5:30pm)   Programming will begin on Monday, August 3rd and follow a Mon-Thurs schedule.  And will run through August 27, 2020.
