Greetings Budget Delegates, Volunteers and Neighbors,

Thanks again for all your efforts and volunteered time during Cycle 5 of Participatory Budgeting. Council Member Laurie A. Cumbo would not have been able to complete this process without the help of your great ideas, support and votes!

We are now in the process of gearing up towards Cycle 6 and District 35’s SECOND time around in this process. We will be kicking off Participatory Budgeting with a Neighborhood Assembly also known as the “idea collection process” in Fort Greene Park on Saturday September 10th, 2016.  You will have the opportunity to learn and ask questions about PB, submit ideas and also sign up to become a budget a delegate.

Please note this is NOT  your typical neighborhood assembly, there will be no PowerPoint presentation because we will be outdoors getting active!  There will be ZUMBA, YOGA and.. more YOGA! Citi Bike passes, face paintings and the list goes on! So please bring your ideas and don’t forget your sneakers.

 ALL AGES ARE WELCOME

 WHEN: Saturday, September 10th, 2016

WHERE: Fort Greene Park, Myrtle Avenue and North Portland Entrance.

TIME: 12:00PM-3:00PM

If you cannot make the PB Kick off no worries there will be two other assemblies which might not be as fun but definitely informational:

St. Mark’s Day Care (1435 Union Street,Brooklyn ): Wednesday, September 21st  , 2016 (6:30-8:30PM)
