The 2022 Annual Congressional District High School Art Competition is now accepting submissions. The Artistic Discovery Contest is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent in the nation, as well as in our congressional district. This competition is open to any high school student who resides in New York’s 8th Congressional District.
Acceptable entries may include, but are not limited to, paintings, drawings, and photography. The first-place entry for each congressional district will be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel of the United States Capitol Building for an entire year, where it will be seen by hundreds of thousands of people who visit the Capitol.
