EcoStation’s Community Apprentice Programat Bushwick Campus Farm is an unique, hands-on work/learning exchange opportunity for adults (18+) to immerse themselves in organic farming, farmers’ markets, urban agriculture, and “food justice” – while helping EcoStation:NY serve the greater Bushwick community. Past Apprenti (as we affectionately call them) have called it nothing short of “life-changing!”

As an EcoStation Community Apprentice you will…

▪ Learn the basics of urban farming

▪ Help run interesting workshops for adults and youth

▪ Learn how to manage a farmers’ market

▪ Help maintain rainwater, hydroponic, and aquaponic systems

▪ Learn the basics of large-scale composting

▪ Learn about entrepreneurship and “added value” products

▪ Meet and work with others working towards food justice in Bushwick
