SUMMARY:Cut the Salt/Curb the Sugar Event
DESCRIPTION:CUT THE SALT / CURB THE SUGAR \nWHEN: THURSDAY JULY 28th\, 2016\nTIME: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM\nWHERE: BROOKLYN BOUROUGH HALL 209 JORALEMON STREET\nRSVP: CLICK HERE\n“We can ‘cut the salt’ and ‘curb the sugar’ – without sacrificing flavor – to create healthier\, happier Brooklynites\,” said Borough President Adams. “I constantly look for nutritious ways to enhance my eating experience that do not have to pack on the pounds. It is so important that every resident of Brooklyn\, especially those predisposed to adverse health risks like diabetes\, hypertension\, and obesity\, embrace small steps in their own lives that replace salty\, sugary foods. Preventative health care is the most effective health care\, and I hope our new cookbook is a useful guide to help Brooklynites raise healthy children and families.”
