Borough Level
The Community Board meets with Agency Commissioners to discuss budget requests and needs and priorities of the district in an attempt to provide the services and funding needed to improve the conditions and quality of life for the residents in the community.
We are required to submit to the Mayor and City Council capital and expense budget priorities that would be taken into consideration in the formulation of the City's overall budget. Public hearings are also held by the Community Board, the Borough President's Office, and the City Council before the budget is adopted.
