ABOUT US

Board Meetings

Community Board 8 meets once every month between September and June on the second Thursday of each month at various locations throughout the District.  At these meetings, issues of concern to the community are addressed. These meetings are open to the public, where individuals are grantedan opportunity to voice concerns and gather information on issues that are given very little publicity.  Check below for our meeting schedule.

committee list and schedule.

Committees

There are nine active Committees.  Each consists of community board members and community residents.  Committees do planning and work on issues that are voted on at the general meetings.  Any proposal that requires Community Board support must meet before the proper committee, as it is the first step in actualizing the proposed goal.
